Explosive New Intel Reveals Team Trump Compromised by Russian Spies Since Last Summer

American Intel uncovers months’ long trump/russia plot

The Trump/Russia plot is beginning to make more and more sense as days wane on. According to a New York Times report, last summer is when American intelligence officials first uncovered evidence that  top Russian officials were hatching a plan to use Trump’s inner circle to coerce the candidate to take pro-Russia positions. According to a handful of former and current intel operatives both Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign honcho  and Michael Flynn, Trump’s former National Security Adviser, were among the staff members specifically mentioned to be tapped to exert influence over the president.

It’s no secret that both Manafort and Flynn have ties to a Trump/Russia relationship and it’s no secret that there was a concerted Russian effort to overthrow the US presidential election. Special Counsel Robert Mueller, a former FBI director, has been tasked with leading a criminal investigation into the many-tentacled Russian controversy that has been the overarching landmark of the Trump presidency.

For their part, both Flynn and Manafort have denied any Russian collusion and say that their business and personal dealings with all things Russia were above-board. Intel, however, shows that Flynn may have been purposefully dishonest during the vetting process to hire him and may have failed to report lobbying work he performed on behalf of Turkey to  Pentagon officials.

Former CIA Director John O. Brennan testified in front of a House Intelligence Committee Tuesday, saying his investigations discovered Russia was trying to target individuals within Trump’s inner circle. That information, Brennan said, was cause for concern.

“(It) raised questions in my mind about whether Russia was able to gain the cooperation of those individuals.

The main question Brennan has posed is whether or not those who helped the Russians disrupt the election process did so willingly. During his testimony, Brennan said it’s not uncommon for people to be pawns in a game of espionage without full knowledge of their role.
