High Caliber Idiocy: The Gun Nuts Losing Their Sh*t Over Anti-NRA March Are Missing the Target
The Right can’t tell the difference between armed idiots and professionally trained men
A Breitbart article today about the Women’s March at NRA headquarters in Washington DC over the weekend was little more than a tantrum essay. The piece served to continue the overriding misrepresentation of the purpose of the march and criticized the group’s use of professional armed security during the event. Apparently the NRA doesn’t distinguish between professionally trained armed guards and the merry band of miscreants that stroke their egos ( and other things) with firearms. Instead of recognizing the protest’s true intent, Breitbart chose to skew the optics to favor the NRA with blatant dishonesty.
“One of the protest themes at the march was, “Real Men Don’t Need Guns,” which is lefty talk for disarming the public while making sure high-profile liberals continue to live ensconced behind layers of armed security.”
March organizers have continued to say that their intent is not to disarm the public or criticize the Second Amendment but to curtail gun violence through awareness. Lead organizer Erika Soto Lamb has battled the violent tendencies of the group she’s opposing for a while. She gave a chilling response to one detractor’s question about why the armed guards have been necessary.

That was in 2014. But as evidenced by the article, the disdain for people opposed to rampant gun violence is still fresh. Ammosexuals at Breitbart chide the truth behind the march by convincing their readers that the protest is akin to door-to-door disarmament. This is despite protest organizers like Carmen Perez and Lamb repeatedly stating their intent is not to take guns away.
“We are not trying to stop gun ownership,” We are trying to stop the violence that comes with it.”
“As long as you’re not a felon, dangerously mentally ill or other prohibited purchaser, it’s all good.”
Breitbart is never one to miss an opportunity to distort someone’s right to free speech. The site tried to claw out their misleading message. Progressives, they say, somehow are working towards an elitist class system. They say progressives are calling for armed security while casting away the rights of ‘the common man’. Maybe one of the march’s mantras, ‘Real Men Don’t Need Guns‘, really bothers Trumpsters and Alt-Right trigger ticklers. Maybe Progressives just don’t want to play the “why does the guy in Walmart have an Uzi” game. Or maybe the hypocrites envy well trained professionals who don’t shoot up schools for fun.
